The Artist Lynnette Gladding
Lynnette Gladding has a First-Class degree in Fine and Applied Art from Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent and has just finished her Master's degree from the Norwich University of the Arts in Norfolk.
Over the past ten years, her work has been shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions at venues such as the Sidney Cooper Gallery in Canterbury and the Lombard Gallery in Margate.
Although known primarily for painting, Lynnette created a sculpture called ‘Freedom’ in 2015 in response to Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre’s request for artist submissions, to support their production called ‘The Rights of Others’. After being on display in the Theatre’s Auditorium, it has since stood in the library of Canterbury Christ Church University.
Lynnette works full-time as a professional artist, she is passionate about dance and movement along with colour, abstract art, cyanotype and painting houses. The pictures on her web site are for sale and she is available for commissions and sculptures.
Lynnette's work is unique. Her statement pieces will create interest and brighten dull walls.
